Most patient portals are opened when something is already wrong.
A portal built for lab results and invoices gives patients no reason to return between problems.
Nothing to do daily
Without a daily habit, the app is forgotten until the next appointment.
Generic content
Advice that ignores a member's own readings feels like a search result, not their doctor.
Access in pieces
Booking in one place, messaging in another, video through a third-party link.
Everything between visits, in one place.
Each feature below is live in the Healthvox app on iOS and Android today.

Vitals, sleep and activity compared with the member's own range, plus a plan for the day.
Morning check-in
One short check-in a day. Readings from a scale, cuff or glucose meter are filled in automatically.
Learn moreHealth journeys
Up to three goals at a time, chosen by the member or set by the care team with a target.
Learn moreMira, the AI assistant
Members ask questions any time and get answers grounded in their own readings rather than generic search results.
Messaging, video and booking
Secure messaging with the care team, video visits in the app and self-service booking, all kept with the record.
Visit summaries and records
Plain-language summaries after each visit, lab trends with meaning, and a read-only share link that expires after an hour.
A care circle for family
With permission, family members can follow vitals and receive alerts — valued by members caring for aging parents.
A safety net at home
Fall detection, emergency SOS with location sharing, and medication reminders.
What a member's day looks like
- 01
Morning
Open the app to a health score and a one-minute check-in.
- 02
During the day
Wearables and home devices sync in the background; journeys update themselves.
- 03
When something changes
If readings move away from baseline, the care team knows — often before the member does.
- 04
Before the visit
The physician opens a brief covering everything since last time.
What patient engagement means here
- A daily-use app tied to the member's own data
- Two-way access to the care team
- Personalized journeys and check-ins
- A marketing or mass-messaging tool
- A generic wellness app disconnected from the practice
Frequently asked questions
Is there a separate app for physicians?
No. Patients and physicians use the same Healthvox app. Physicians sign up in the app and apply for provider access, and our team approves each account.
What can Mira answer?
Members can ask about their own readings, trends and labs in plain language. Physicians can ask Mira questions across their panel, such as which members haven't logged a reading in two weeks. Mira supports, and does not replace, the care team.
Do members need to buy specific devices?
No. Healthvox reads from Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android, so Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Withings and Omron data arrives through the platform health store. FreeStyle Libre glucose data connects directly through LibreLinkUp.
How is patient data protected?
Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS in transit, with role-based access control, tenant isolation and audit logging. EHR connections use HL7 FHIR R4 and SMART on FHIR with asymmetric OAuth 2.0 client authentication.
